Although Samaritans is a household name and a major national charity, the fact is that the organization relies on donations for 96% of its funding. In common with all Samaritans branches, Walsall & District branch has to raise its own funds. 

We simply wouldn't exist without donations from people like you. There are the costs of running our centre and the telephone bills. There's also the cost of publicity to make sure anyone in the local community knows how to contact us, and the cost of recruiting and training volunteers. Only with your support can Samaritans be there every day for the people who live around you. So please give as much as you can to help us be there when we're needed.

How much do we need?

We estimate we need around £16,000 a year to maintain our basic service. Currently it costs nearly £55 a day* to run Samaritans for the Walsall area - all that money has to be raised locally. It is getting harder and harder to raise the money we need to survive and any contribution you make will be gratefully received. How to make a donation

You can post cheques to Samaritans of Walsall & District, Bott Lane, Walsall, WS1 2JQ. Please make your cheque payable to "Walsall Samaritans".
